Applications for in‐state preference will no longer be processed through the State Purchasing Division. All resident businesses, veterans, and contractors will have to obtain preference number(s) with the NM Department of Taxation & Revenue. In order for the appropriate preference to be applied to any solicitation, there must be no federal funds involved, and vendor must submit a copy of their preference certificate with each solicitation.
