On March 29, 2021, the Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”) issued a Notice which automatically extended the deadline for eligible individuals to make contributions to a traditional or Roth IRA for 2020 from April 15, 2021 to May 17, 2021. This extension is granted automatically for individual taxpayers; no separate application is necessary to qualify.
