Benefit eligible employees are permitted to participate in the city of Phoenix 401(a) Plan Supplemental Component. An election to participate must be made within 31 days of the date you were hired if you were hired on April 1, 2008 or later. If you were hired before April 1, 2008, you are no longer eligible. All elections are binding and irrevocable.
