ACT Government andIslander Justice Agreement • August 23rd, 2012
On 2 August 2010, the ACT Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Justice Agreement was signed by the Government and representatives of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. The Agreement is a major commitment by the ACT Government, a partnership between the Government and the community and a step in the right direction, focussing attention on issues regarding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the justice system in the ACT.
