There have been two previously signed JPAs, the original JPA in 2011 and a revised/updated JPA in 2013. The JPA is an effort to collect unused and/or outdated prescription drugs, instead of persons flushing them into the sewer system. Tests of ground water have determined particulates of prescription medication, thereby confirming contamination of our ground water system.
