Currently, St. Johns County maintains the landscaping in the roundabout and medians at the intersection of CR 210 and Mickler Road in Palm Valley. Through coordination with the Palm Valley Community Association, the owner of the adjacent commercial development, FBP Development PV, LLC ("FBP"), has expressed a desire to maintain this landscaping. FBP will provide additional maintenance, enhancing the aesthetic appearance of area. FBP will provide this maintenance at no cost to the County. The attached proposed Maintenance Agreement details the responsibilities of the County and FBP for this higher level of maintenance. Public Works staff recommends that it is in the best interest of the County.
