The signatory parties agree that we wish to form a long-term, co-operative relationship, working together to implement our shared Vision and Strategy for the Mackenzie Country. We affirm that support for the development aspects of our Strategy are inseparable from the establishment and funding of the Mackenzie Country Trust, and vice versa. We acknowledge that in the current fiscal circumstances it may be difficult for the Government to fund the Trust in financial year 2012-13. However, we urge the Government to commit to funding the Trust for the following years, and in the meantime, to legislate for its establishment. For our part, regardless of any Government decisions taken in the meantime, we commit to maintain our relationships, and to work together to achieve our agreed Vision and
