References to any statute or statutory provision shall be deemed to include a reference to any amendment or re‑enactment thereof or substitution from time to time and any rules orders regulations and delegated legislation made thereunder and shall include a reference also to any past statutory provisions (as from time to time amended or re-enacted) which such statute or statutory provision directly or indirectly has replaced.
