Contract Type FiledMarch 7th, 2024This Memorandum of Understanding (Agreement) is entered into by the State of Maryland (Employer) and AFT Healthcare-Maryland, AFT, AFL-CIO Local 5197 (the Union), and has as its purpose the promotion of harmonious relations between the Employer and the Union; the establishment of an equitable and peaceful procedure for the resolution of differences without disruption in the workplace; and includes the agreement of the parties on the standards of wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment for the Bargaining Unit E employees covered hereunder. The Employer recognizes the commitment of the Union and employees to organizational efficiency and high-quality services and will actively encourage the sharing of concerns regarding management practices, policies, and procedures.
