In accepting this Bill of Lading, Merchant agrees to be bound by all its stipulations, exceptions, terms, and conditions appearing on the face and reverse hereof, whether written, printed, stamped, or otherwise incorporated, as fully as if they were all signed by Merchant, notwithstanding any local customs to the contrary, and notwithstanding the terms or conditions of any contract entered into prior to the issuance of this Bill of Lading, which Bill of Lading shall supersede such prior contract if and to the extent there is a conflict between them. Merchant further agrees that all agreements of freight engagement for and in connection with the carriage of the Goods are superseded by this Bill of Lading, Carrier has issued the number of original Bill(s) of Lading stated herein, on the date set forth, only one of which shall constitute title to the Goods as set forth in Clause 6 herein below.
