PAUL REQUEST FOR DECISION DATE: February 22, 2021 TOPIC: Mutual Fire Aid Agreement - Bonnyville BACKGROUND: On October 26, 2020, St. Paul Fire Department responded to a fire in which external resources were needed. A request for mutual aid, specifically an Aerial fire truck, was made to Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority. Although no mutual aid agreement was in place between the Town of St. Paul and Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority, BRFA responded and assisted with this specific event. An invoice for services rendered was received, and passed along to the owner of the property for payment. A Mutual Aid Fire Agreement is presented for Council's consideration should either party ever request assistance again. All requests for assistance shall be made by the Fire Chief or his designate. The agreement in question is similar to other mutual aid agreements in place with the County of St. Paul. BUDGET/FINANCIAL: There is no cost until such time a request is made. Any f
