The district’s Food Services Department provides daily student meals for SCASD students and Our Lady of Victory students on a contractual basis. While the district has long accepted credit card deposits in district food accounts, parents and guardians of Our Lady of Victory students have had to rely on checks or cash as the only deposit options. The district has utilized Heartland’s MySchoolBucks merchant processing methodology for the past seven (7) years. By all accounts, the partnership has been successful. This contract will establish a new MySchoolBucks merchant processing agreement for the district while establishing the 1st such agreement for processing Our Lady of Victory deposits. In doing so, the deposit process at Our Lady of Victory can become automated, more expedient and less labor intensive. It should be noted that there is no cost to the district for this service.
