Intermap Technologies and Magellan have signed an agreement in which Intermap will provide outdoor map content products for Magellan's line of handheld GPS devices. Intermap's AccuTerra map products will provide users with outdoor specific map data for the contiguous 48 states and Hawaii.

Esri, USA, has licensed the rights for DigitalGlobe’s Global Basemap imagery layer. The announcement was made at the Esri International User Conference, held from 24 to 26 July 2012 in San Diego, USA. The imagery layer will be integrated into Esri’s existing imagery basemap in ArcGIS Online.

Under terms of the agreement, AAMHatch has the exclusive rights to utiliSe Pictometry's patented imaging capture technology to take digital, georeferenced (location-enabled) aerial oblique imagery of Australia and New Zealand and to market the Pictometry image libraries and software in these areas.

Tele Atlas has announced a partnership with South Korea-based SK Energy (SKE) to license the SKE digital maps and enhanced content of South Korea for distribution to the global Tele Atlas customer base. The move expands Tele Atlas map coverage in the APAC region to 13 countries and territories.
 Under the terms of the agreement, Tele Atlas will gain access to SKE’s existing database of more than 186,000 kilometres of navigable roads in South Korea, covering nearly 100 percent of the country, 3,800 municipalities and 50 million inhabitants.
