On March 1, 2017, pursuant to Section 205 of the Federal Power Act,1 Mid- Atlantic Interstate Transmission, LLC (“MAIT”) submitted for filing an Operating and Interconnection Agreement between MAIT and Pennsylvania Electric Company (“Penelec”). MAIT and Penelec have entered into the agreement to establish the terms and conditions governing the interconnection, planning and operation of their respective electric systems. In the March 1 filing, MAIT requested an effective date of February 1, 2017 for the agreement. The Commission has not yet acted on the March 1 filing.
