Notice is hereby given that at the Regular Meeting on December 18, 2017, at 7:00 o’clock p.m. in the City Commission Chambers, 123 Broadway Blvd., SE, Polk City, Florida, the City Commission will consider for approval an agreement entitled “Option Contract for Sale and Purchase” between Polk City and Bryant Properties. The purpose of the agreement is to provide for the purchase by the City of two parcels of land totaling 17 acres. The Property Appraiser’s Parcel Numbers for the two parcels are 25-26-31- 000000-032010 and 25-26-31-000000-041010. The specific legal authority for notice of this acquisition is Section 166.045, Florida Statutes. Inspection of the file is available for review at the from the office of the City Clerk at City Hall, 123 Broadway Blvd.,SE, Monday thru Thursday between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. The SELLER, in consideration of the BUYER paying $ (the "Option Deposit"), gives to the BUYER the exclusive option (the "Option") to purchase the property described below (the "Property"). In the event that the BUYER exercises this Option, the Option Deposit shall not be applied towards the purchase price of the Property. The Option Deposit is non-refundable and will be forfeited in the event that BUYER fails to exercise the Option unless otherwise so stated.
