On August 22, 2012, Michigan Consolidated Gas Company (Mich Con) filed an application requesting approval of an amended energy optimization plan (EOP) pursuant to Subpart B of 2008 PA 295 (Act 295). A prehearing conference was held on September 11, 2012, before Administrative Law Judge Mark E. Cummins (ALJ). The Commission Staff (Staff) and Mich Con also participated in the proceedings. On September 13, 2012, the Association of Businesses Advocating Tariff Equity filed a petition to intervene, which the ALJ granted on September 17, 2012. On November 14, 2012, the parties submitted a corrected settlement agreement (settlement agreement) resolving all issues in the case.
