District-Issued Chromebook (These rules apply to all students using a district-owned device.) While enrolled at PCSC, students may be issued a Chromebook for educational use. All district-issued Chromebooks are the property of PCSC. Any fees attached to these devices (and the payment of those fees) does not render ownership of the devices to students, or their parents/guardians.

CHROMEBOOK GUIDELINES I will arrive at school with the Chromebook fully charged everyday. I will use the district-provided internet resources for educational purposes only. I understand that my family will be responsible for all damage to my Chromebook,including the cost of a replacement Chromebook, caused by misuse or negligence. Any accidental damage will be covered the 1 time each year up to $20. Any costs foraccidental above that amount is the responsibility of the guardian/student. No food or drinks allowed near, around or on a Chromebook at any time. I will keep the Chromebook lid fully closed and inside the case whenever it is moved from one point to another or I am not using it (ex. leave Chromebook at the desk to go talk with the teacher, close the Chromebook) I understand that I am NOT allowed to take the Chromebook out of the case providedby PCSC. Certain students/grade levels at North East Carolina Preparatory School ("NECP") will be issued a Asus/Dell/HP Chromebook for use in school and at home. This agreement provides students and their parents/guardians with information about taking care of the equipment, using it to complete assignments, and being a good digital citizen. Chromebooks will be issued to students for their use only and in students’ possession until they cease to be enrolled and/or graduate from NECP.
