Students may be permitted to use the device at home, but a parent/guardian or student must surrender the device to the District Technology Department or building administrators on demand or when the student no longer requires use of the device for reasons including, but not limited to, withdrawal from the District.

Barnette Elementary School is implementing 1:1 technology this year in grades K-5. We are excited to offer students in grades K-2 an iPad and students in grades 3-5 a Chromebook. It is our intent at Barnette to provide students with a device for authentic, rigorous learning. In addition, the device will provide opportunities for students to be fully engaged during remote learning.
