Parent-Teen Safe Driving ContractParent-Teen Safe Driving Contract • August 31st, 2017
Contract Type FiledAugust 31st, 2017At the age of sixteen most teens are excited about the freedom of driving a car but many do not realize the responsibilities that come with driving. It’s important to set rules, consequences and rewards so that the teen and parent have a clear agreement. Rules such as curfews, boundaries, passengers, insurance, vehicle maintenance and others should be discussed with your child. It’s important to set up consequences if the rules are not followed properly, with the ultimate consequence being losing the keys to the car and the privilege to drive. If your teen follows the rules, you may want to consider changing some of the rules as he or she becomes a reliable driver.
