Parents are indeed an integral component of the YMCA West Side Silver Fins (YWSF), the team could not survive without parental involvement. Parents are encouraged to participate in team activities and functions and they should support and ensure that both they and their child abide by the Swimmer Code of Conduct. Swimmers and family members represent not only themselves but the Silver Fins and the YMCA community.
