This is a part time, year round contract with the responsibility to develop a diverse programming roster for all CFolk Guild activities that celebrates traditional and new folk music, bridges generations and builds new audiences, and includes both local and visiting talent. Living in the Cowichan Valley would be preferred. This contract can be worked from a home office, but with the expectation that the AD will work at the CFG office as/when necessary. The AD works directly with the CFG Board, the Office Administrator, the Islands Folk Festival Chair and reports to the CFG Board of Directors. This position could grow if the contractor demonstrated expertise in the following areas: Marketing, Communications, Web and Social Media, Desktop Publishing, Grant Writing, Sponsorship Development.
