This Student Field Placement Cooperative Agreement (“Agreement”) is dated and effective January 10, 2022 (“Effective Date”) between Conejo Valley Unified School District (“District”), a California K–12 district and political subdivision of the State of California, and Pepperdine University (“University”). District and University are also referred to collectively as the “Parties” and individually as “Party.” It is the parties’ intent that this agreement is a cooperative agreement for the benefit of the public and that entering into this agreement does not trigger any compliance or reporting obligation on the part of the University. This agreement does not in any way enlarge the University’s obligations under federal or state law regulation.
