The Alabama Insurance Underwriting Association has been established to provide a method whereby Wind, Hail and Hurricane Coverage, and in limited circumstances, Fire and Extended Coverage may be provided in the Eligible Areas of Baldwin and Mobile Counties of Alabama. This Plan of Operation as amended shall become effective January 1, 2021.

The South Carolina Wind and Hail Underwriting Association has been established in accordance with Section 38-75-330, et seq, of the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, as amended, to provide a method whereby wind and hail insurance may be obtained more easily and equitably in the coastal areas of the State of South Carolina.
