No, we did not give Apple any remuneration whatsoever, nor was there any restrictions on placement of the products. The only consideration as part of the agreement was that we did not show Apple products in a derogatory fashion. In arranging the deal we firstly advised Apple of the scenes and manner in which their products were to be used in and sent them examples of the scripted scenes so they were able to see the nature of the show, ie, that our program was in keeping with what they would wish to be associated with. So they would have considered the show’s content, the actors, the production company etc. There was no agreement that Apple products needed to be featured in scenes of their choice or have any prominence on screen or have to be used any number of times.
