FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND PYRAMID ALTERNATIVES THIS SECOND AMENDMENT is entered into this day of , 20 , by and between the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, hereinafter called "County," and Pyramid Alternatives hereinafter called "Contractor";W I T N E S S E T H:WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code, Section 31000, County may contract with independent contractors for the furnishing of such services to or for County or any Department thereof; and WHEREAS, on February 26, 2008 the County Manager approved an Agreement (the “Original Agreement”), for the furnishing of professional services by Contractor to County as set forth in the Original Agreement; and WHEREAS, the parties now wish to execute an Amendment to the Agreement to include Senior Supportive Services; and WHEREAS the parties now wish to increase the maximum obligation by $37,418 to a new maximum of $187,418.
