THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into by and between the USDA Forest Service, Sequoia National Forest, hereinafter referred to as the FOREST SERVICE, and the Tule River Tribal Council, hereinafter referred to as the TRIBE and jointly referred to as PARTIES under the authority and provisions of the Reciprocal Fire Protection Act of May 27, 1955 (42 USC 1856), the Stafford Act, Public Law 93-288 as amended (42 USC 5121 et. seq.), the Granger- Thye Act of April 24, 1950 (16 USC 572), and the Cooperative Funds and Deposits Act of Dec 12, 1975 (16 USC 565a1-3).
