Contract Type FiledNovember 22nd, 2006And whereas in view of the rapid economic development of the country and with a view to encouraging the movement of transport vehicles on the inter-State routes between the State of Orissa and West Bengal and regulating and controlling their operation, the proposal of the State Government of Orissa and West Bengal to enter into a supplementary reciprocal transport agreement was published as required by sub-section (5) of Section 88 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988) and in notification of the Government of Orissa in the Commerce & Transport (Transport) Department No. 16509-LC-IV-RA-5/96, dated the 18th November, 1996 in the extraordinary issue No.1207 of the Orissa Gazette, dated the 18th November, 1996 inviting representation in connection therewith in writing within thirty days from the date of publication of the said notification in the Official Gazette.
