As part of the Temporary Specification for gTLD Registration Data adopted on 17 May 2018 by the ICANN Board of Directors (the “Temporary Specification”), Registry Operators must include provisions in their Registry-Registrar Agreements “concerning the handling of Personal Data in a manner that complies with applicable requirements of Article 28 of the GDPR.”
