The County of El Dorado is topographically divided into two zones. The northeast corner of the County is in the Lake Tahoe basin and is commonly referred to as the East Slope of the County, while the remainder of the County is in the area west of Echo Summit or the West Slope of the County.

The City of Oceanside Water Utilities Department (CITY) is soliciting requests for qualifications (RFQs) for on-call small to medium design and engineering services on a contractual basis for a period of up to three years. This agreement shall be for small to medium sized projects, ranging in value from $10,000 to up to $1 million. CITY envisions potentially multiple agreements divided into water and sewer projects, and possibly pipeline projects vs. treatment plant and pump/lift station projects.

Conflict with Existing Law - The Contractor and the Commission agree that, if any provision of this Agreement is found to be illegal or unenforceable, such term or provision shall be deemed stricken and the remainder of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. Either party having knowledge of such terms or provision shall promptly inform the other of the presumed non-applicability of such provision. Should the offending provision go to the heart of this Agreement, this Agreement shall be terminated in a manner commensurate with the interest of both parties, to the maximum extent reasonable.
