This is a yearly contract. If the resident desires to cancel it before its expiration, she can do that only to the end of a semester and has to give notice to the management at least two months ahead (p.es. departure 1st of July / cancellation at latest 31st of Mai). Otherwise, the rent is due until the end of the contract’s date, except if the resident succeeds to find a new tenant accepted by the management to overtake her contract without suffering losses. In the latter case the resident will only be charged with CHF 200.00 for file charges.
