This document represents a joint local Response Agreement between Surrey Police, Surrey Care Providers and Surrey Agencies for the management of adults who are receiving care services and who are then missing. Whilst there has always been a good relationship between Care Providers, Surrey Agencies and Surrey Police, there is evidence to suggest that in the past a mutual lack of understanding of procedures has hindered missing person enquiries.
