The purpose of this Retention and Separation Agreement (“Agreement”) is to confirm the terms of your retention by NitroMed, Inc. (“NitroMed” or “the Company”), and your ultimate separation of employment from NitroMed.(1) The date of your actual separation shall be deemed to be the “Separation Date”.
