The Niagara County Board of Elections, (hereinafter, “NCBOE”), a department of the County of Niagara, has requested the right of entry upon and access to the City Train Station building at 825 Depot Avenue West for use as an early voting polling site. As you are aware, both the voting public and the overall election process have benefited from the availability of early voting sites. Early voting has eased Election Day congestion, leading to shorter lines and improved poll-worker performance. It also allows election officials to correct registration errors and fix voting system glitches earlier.

In furtherance of a potential sale of the property, it is necessary to enter into an agreement with the potential buyer, the Niagara County Building Trades, in order to allow them access to the property to remove junk and debris and perform general cleanup activities at the long vacant site.
