The Arkansas Department of Labor, U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration (hereinafter, USDOL OSHA) Little Rock Area Office recognizes the value of establishing a collaborative relationship to foster safer and more healthful Arkansas workplaces. The Arkansas Department of Labor and the USDOL OSHA Little Rock Area Office hereby form an alliance with the NorthWest Arkansas Community College (hereinafter, NWACC) to help provide safety and health assistance in the areas training resources and/or material that will help the employers of Northwest Arkansas protect employees’ and will allow establishment of a safety culture.

The Employer and the Union have developed the following Sections and Subsections of this Agreement to respond to that mutual concern for safety. The contract language responds to a variety of areas related to safety, health, ergonomics, climatic conditions as well as federal, state and local laws dedicated to providing a safe and healthy workplace.
