New technologies have become integral to the lives of children and young people in today’s society, both within schools and in their lives outside school. The internet and other digital information and communications technologies are powerful tools, which open up new opportunities for everyone. These technologies can stimulate discussion, promote creativity and stimulate awareness of context to promote effective learning. Young people should have an entitlement to safe internet access at all times.

With guidance from B.C.’s Restart Plan, Hope and Health will be resuming its in- community soccer programs. All in-person sport activities will be approved by, and accommodated to, each community. Hope and Health’s updated protocols are guided by the recommendations of viaSport and the Return to Sport Guidelines, which will allow us to operate safely and responsibly during this pandemic. We are prepared to monitor and update these plans as necessary, as we adapt to our “new normal”.
