At its simplest, a sales agreement involves the sale of goods from seller to buyer. The seller could be the manufacturer or the manufacturer’s distributor. The buyer could be a wholesaler or distributor or, more likely, an end-user. Sales agree- ments can vary in form from a purchase order to a long-term supply or require- ments contract, with dozens of variations in between.
