A Section 22A agreement has been developed for all Chief Constables and Police and Crime Commissioners (and equivalent) to sign in relation to the delivery of forensic science services in England and Wales.

A draft Section 22A Agreement (the Agreement), was developed over several months using a template developed by the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners. Transforming Forensics (TF) is the first programme to adopt the new template and our experience with a standardised approach has been very positive.
