Services shall include the performance of all vegetation management services required by the City to allow the passage of Division of Refuse Collection vehicles to access streets and alleys during the daily collection routes. Including initial clearing, emergency tree cutting, maintenance, right of way clearing, dead/disease tree removals, and other removal of vegetation as needed. The successful bidder will provide the minimum clearance, as required by the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) and IEEE for tree limbs, vines, or brush, surrounding all communications and electrical cables on distribution circuits and transmission structures.
