This Sewer User’s Agreement (“Agreement”) is made and entered into on the date this Agreement is signed by the Lorain County Rural Wastewater District (“LORCO”) and the Owner. By the terms of this agreement, LORCO will provide sewer service to Owner, and Owner will pay for such service according to the terms in this agreement and shall further abide by the policies and procedures adopted by LORCO relating to such service.

Moore County Public Utilities (MCPU) intends to proceed with construction of the Phase 2 sewer project in Vass, NC. The sewer connection fee for a standard ¾” water service is $3,553 (Tap + SDF + Admin fees). The Town of Vass has generously agreed to contribute significant monies toward the project in order to reduce the individual connection fee for customers within the Town corporate limits that have public water service. The resulting connection fee is reduced to $500 per customer for the first 69 customers that sign up. Customers within the Town’s ETJ may also receive the reduced rate if a Petition for Voluntary Annexation is submitted at the time of application. Additionally, property owners must pay for a separate plumbing permit when they prepare to connect to the system. The number of customers that commit to sewer service by executing this Sewer Users Agreement and paying the sign-up fee will be the determining factor in which streets will receive sewer service.

Moore County Public Utilities (MCPU) intends to proceed with construction of the Phase 2 sewer project in Vass, NC. The sewer connection fee for a standard sewer service is $3,553 (Tap + SDF + Admin fees). The Town of Vass has generously agreed to contribute significant monies toward the project to reduce the individual connection fee for customers within the Town corporate limits that have public sewer service. The resulting connection fee is reduced to $250 per customer for the first 56 standard customers that apply for service. Standard customers within the Town’s ETJ may also receive the reduced rate if a Petition for Voluntary Annexation is submitted at the time of application. Customers funded by CDBG and Customers that were asked to provide an easement will not be required to pay the connection fee.
