The purpose of this document is to specifically outline and allocate the maintenance responsibilities between the Defiance Township “Township” and the City of Defiance “City” for Carter Road & Ginter Road. Carter Road & Ginter Road are boundary line roads between the two entities in some locations. In those locations, the boundary runs down the middle of the road. It is understood by both the Township and the City that it is more expedient and efficient that the Township maintain portions of the City roads and the City maintain portions of Township roads which currently are common to each jurisdiction.
