Southeastern Community College recognizes the importance of “Service animals” as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA) in the product category of “Assistance Animals” under the Fair Housing Act that provided physical and\or emotional support to individuals with disabilities. SCC is committed to allowing individuals with disabilities the use of a service animal on campus to facilitate the full- participation and equal access to the college programs and activities. SCC is also committed to allowing Assistance Animals necessary to provide individuals with disabilities an equal opportunity to use and enjoy college housing. This policy explains specific requirements applicable to an individual’s use of an assistance animal in college housing. SCC reserves the right to amend this policy at any time as circumstances require.

THIS ARTICULATION AGREEMENT is made and entered into by and between NORTH CAROLINA AGRICULTURAL AND TECHNICAL STATE UNIVERSITY, a public university located in Greensboro, North Carolina (hereinafter “N.C. A&T”) and SOUTHEASTERN COMMUNITY COLLEGE, a North Carolina Community College System Institution (hereinafter “SCC”). N.C. A&T and SCC hereby join in a collaborative effort to facilitate the transfer of students graduating from SCC with an Associate in Applied Science in Agribusiness Technology into the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education (Agricultural Professional Service) Program at N.C. A&T and agree to the following terms
