Special Release and Waiver of Liability • October 21st, 2020

The coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and the disease it causes, COVID-19, are extremely contagious and presents a risk of severe illness and death. The City of Commerce City’s Department of Parks, Recreation, and Golf (“PRG”) plans to use preventative measures recommended by health agencies in the administration and performance of its 2020-2021 Teen Drop-In Program. However, the City of Commerce City (“City”) cannot guarantee that participants will not become infected with the virus. Partaking in the Teen Drop-In Program (“Program”) could increase a participant’s risk of infection and the infection of others with whom the participant interacts. Please DO NOT enter City facilities or participate in City programs or activities if you or your child are feeling or showing symptoms of this or any other communicable disease. All participants will be temperature checked upon entry, and individuals showing signs of fever or illness will not be allowed to enter City facilities.
