Station Request and Agreement for Alternative Broadcast InspectionStation Request and Agreement for Alternative Broadcast Inspection • July 5th, 2016
Contract Type FiledJuly 5th, 2016TAB created the ABIP in 1997 through a unique partnership with the Federal Communications Commission. TAB’s inspectors review stations for compliance with FCC regulations using the FCC’s self inspection checklists as a guide. If found in compliance, a station receives a three year waiver from FCC routine, drop‐in inspections by virtue of a TAB‐issued certificate of compliance. Stations enter into an agreement with TAB to perform an ABIP review by completing this contract and submitting payment. TAB then executes the agreement and establishes the date that the inspection window begins. TAB will fax a copy of the signed contract to the station.
