Scheduled Meetings and Assignments: Training objectives will be accomplished through regular meetings and progressive assignments. Scholarly publications in the focal area of research will be used as models for developing discipline-specific writing skills. Students will submit each of the discussed drafts as assignments to their advisor and into the PHP1980 Canvas site by the agreed-upon deadline. Students and advisors should work together to set individual deadlines for assignments. The schedule of in-person, one-to-one meetings with the instructor and corresponding topics/assignments will vary depending on student needs and faculty availability, but typically looks as follows:
