Device – Hills-Beaver Creek Schools has created a plan to help students have equal access to technology in and outside of the classroom. Over the past several years students have received a school provided Google Drive account that allows them to create papers, presentations, spreadsheets, databases and surveys. It also provides students and staff with an email account for better communication. Additionally, the school has increased the number of devices in the school district. As we move into this next phase in enhancing student learning, the school is providing Chromebook computers to ninth through twelfth grade students. Having increased access to technology in and outside of the classroom can amplify the power of these tools for education.
