At Annunciation Catholic Academy our goal is that technology should be used for definite academic and cognitive outcomes associated with the use of technology. Technology is not looked at as an “end,” but as a means through which thinking skills and academic knowledge is acquired. All uses of technology are viewed in context of the moral and ethical teachings of the Catholic Church. Authentic use of technology by both the teachers and the students is an integral part of the teaching and learning.

This document provides guidelines regarding the use of iPads at home/school and should be read in conjunction with the SACRED HEART PARISH SCHOOL ICT Policy and Technology User Agreement. If you have any questions or concerns about the policies, procedures or expectations outlined in these documents, please speak to Miss Erin Macdonald (Principal) or to Mrs. Rose Costa (Deputy Principal). Some of this agreement pertains to school Leased iPads only, but parents and children with BYOD iPads are asked to agree to the purple sections of this Agreement.
