The following is a list of duties and an agreement for the student service (student aide) for the office at the high school. By reading and signing below, the student agrees to those duties and also to represent the Snake River High School with proper behavior. Breaking the terms of this agreement will result in the student being transferred to a different class with different responsibilities; loss of credit will follow. Assignment as a Administrative Student Service is a privilege and should be viewed as such.

Introduction: The Tennessee Department of Education has issued Guidelines regarding service obligations and other requirements for students who receive financial assistance under the Become A Special Educator in TN Teaching Program (BASE-TN Teaching Program). The Guidelines state that (a) individuals who receive student financial assistance are required to complete a service obligation in an approved Tennessee public school or repay all or part of the costs of such assistance in accordance with the provisions of the Guidelines; and (b) individuals who receive student financial assistance who fail to complete their approved Program of Study or dropout prematurely are required to repay all or part of the costs of such assistance in accordance with the provisions of the Guidelines.

The Scholarship for Service (Scholarship Track) program (SFS-ST) provides the means for program-approved academic institutions to grant scholarships to students (hereinafter referred to as participants) who agree to pursue a degree in the information assurance fields and serve in the Federal Government in a covered position (i.e., a position in the information assurance field) for a period of up to two years upon completing academic degree requirements. This document sets forth the participant’s responsibilities.
