The Acceptable Use Agreement (Agreement) is entered into pursuant to the terms of Board Policy 363.2. This Agreement defines the responsibilities of Green Lake School District (GLSD) employees and students (collectively “users”) using network and Internet resources provided by public funds. This Agreement applies to District-owned computers and other devices as well as parent/student-owned computers and devices. All requirements set forth under Board Policy 363.2 apply to this Agreement.

The Roseville Joint Union High School District (RJUHSD) recognizes that technology, including network and Internet services offers a wide variety of opportunities to further educational goals and objectives and therefore provides technology services and network access to its staff and students. Access to these vast resources and information is an educational opportunity requiring responsible use by each individual. As such, every RJUHSD user should act in an ethical and legal manner consistent with district goals and objectives and should conform to educationally appropriate use. Please reference Board Policy 6163.4 for complete information.

Forest Hills School District believes technology and its utilization enhances the quality and delivery of education and is an important part of preparing children for life in the 21st century. The community of technology users must understand that the internet is a global, fluid community that remains largely unregulated. While it is an extremely valuable educational tool, there are sections that are not commensurate with community, school or family standards. However, FHSD believes that the internet’s advantages far outweigh its disadvantages and therefore will provide an internet filtering device which blocks access to a large percentage of inappropriate sites. However, it should not be assumed that users are completely prevented from accessing inappropriate materials or from sending or receiving objectionable communications.

Tolles Career & Technical Center provides access to students, staff, and users to electronic network systems. Access to the electronic network includes access to inter-connected computer systems in the building, District, or inter-connected computer systems on a worldwide basis and includes services such as email, forums, bulletin boards and web sites that are available to the electronic network.
