This Supervising Solicitor position provides information, education and legal advice that may extend to legal representation on legal issues presented at the Baywide Community Law Service (BCLS) by clients residing in the Bay of Plenty. In addition, this role requires the leadership, management and supervision of those staff and volunteers that provide legal information, education and advice (which may also extend to representation). The Supervising Solicitor ensures they comply with statutory and professional requirements in order to meet BCLS’s contractual obligations to the Ministry of Justice.
