Contract Type FiledOctober 22nd, 2015As of this year, under the Affordable Care Act, applicable large employers (such as Sarpy County) are required to file information returns with the IRS and also provide statements to full- time employees about health coverage. These returns, known as the 1094-C and 1095-C (see attached), help the IRS two-fold: determine whether employers properly offered coverage to eligible employees (or owe an employer shared responsibility payment to the IRS) and whether an employee is eligible for the premium tax credit.
